Groups / Centre based activities

Fun Care Gery has a range of activities and programs aimed to assist our participants to enhance their Mental and Physical wellbeing. Social inclusion and interaction programs are specially designed to meet an individual’s need and to assist them in finding their “special place” in life, where they feel valued and comfortable within their surroundings.

Fun Care Gery has Centre-based Activities and Groups to promote socialisation. These Centre-based Activities are facilitated by activities staff and support workers and have self-directed skill-building activities. We encourage participants to engage in activities independently and/or participate in workshops/group activities.

3. Computer Skills & Scrabble Playing & Scrapbooking
4. Kitchen and cooking skills ( Non cooking )
5. Communication Skills, signage drawing and identifying
6. Playdough Class & Puzzle Solving
7. Money Management and Keeping Safe
8. Exercise groups
9. Library, Shopping Centre & Parks/ Zoo ( Pre booking required )
10. Social Group Community – Community Inclusion
11. Sewing
12. Indoor games of Choice.
13. Beach tour.
What Does Fun Care Gery Do?

Fun Care Gery assists NDIS participants in all of the activities mentioned above and also encourages you to take part in other group-based activities. to create your own community with like-minded people.

The consultation is absolutely free for every single participant who is looking for NDIS plan manager. Our expert will guide you from the moment you enter our service centre or from the moment you contact us. Our main motto is to help every disabled person who is unable to enjoy life because of their disability, and to accomplish that, we need just one thing from you: to put your trust in us.

What should I expect from group activities?

There are a number of things you can expect from these activities, but first, when it will come in handy or who really needs group activities. If you have a hobby that you want to spend more time in or have a bucket list of activities you want to do, you are a perfect candidate for group activities.

At first glance, it seems like you will meet lots of new people and do lots of fun activities together. That’s right, but there is more to it. You can get much more from this service, like making new connections and checking out local gigs. With this service, you can learn independence skills like catching public transportation, learning how to cook, and even buying groceries on your own.

There will be a plethora of different activities, and our support worker will be assisting you. They will go one step further to help you so that you can become more independent and enjoy life to the fullest.
